  • Facility in KS is looking for a PEDS RN to help their team asap.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must Have: Peds-Med Surg Experience
    • Prefer: Peds-ED or Peds-ICU
    • No drips
    • No reading or interpreting of strips
    • No monitor techs
    • Management of the equipment is a combination of RT and Nursing
    • RT performs respiratory treatments
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 7-7
      • Set schedules by manager
      • Potential for blocking
      • Scheduling 6 weeks out
      • Every other weekend
      • Weekends are Saturday/Sunday
      • Potential float to LDRP for newborn/pp assistance
      • Ratio of 1:4
      • One general orientation shift and three floor shifts with a preceptor on the floor
      • EOW and Holiday
        • Additional Details
        • 4 beds, all private rooms
        • 1:4 ratio with 2 nurses staffed at all times
        • Gastroenteritis, Asthma, RSV, General Respiratory issues, Dehydration
        • There are supervisory staff available 24/7
        • Yes there is a house supervisor
        • No CNA's or PCT's - 2 nurses at all time (regardless of census)
        • Heated high flow and CPAP on unit. No vents or trach's
        • RT is available at all times
