Rad Technologist CT II Job Description
Perform imaging studies of various body parts to assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries.

About the Job
As a Rad Technologist CT II, you will be responsible for performing imaging studies, preparing patients for exams, and completing documentation for each study performed. You will also be required to observe safety regulations, use professional judgment, and participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
  
• Perform procedures, assess patients throughout, and respond to patient needs as appropriate
  
• Complete documentation for each study performed
  
• Perform all computer and PACS functions
  
• Observe safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff
  
• Demonstrate knowledge of Universal protocols
  
• Use professional judgment and critical thinking when performing procedures
  
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff members and instruct students during their clinical rotations
  
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols to ensure the highest quality procedures
  
• Follow all Radiation dose monitoring guidelines
  
• Perform all other duties as assigned
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
    
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
    
  • Associate Degree
    
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
