Diagnostic Imaging Specialist OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Wesley Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.Responsibilities:

• Position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
• Perform procedures and assess patients throughout, responding to their needs as appropriate
• Complete appropriate documentation for each study performed
• Use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during their clinical rotations
• Maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols to ensure the highest quality proceduresRequirements:
  • Currently registered as an MRI Technologist, or will obtain MRI registry within six months of hire date
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy
  • Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
